Nearly all of Golden Gate Recording Studio is comprised of point to point, Class A electronics.  This collection of musical recording equipment has been hand picked over the past 20 years and has never been available to the public until now.  You will find most our recording equipment was built in the 50's, 60's and early 70's before the processing chip was introduced.  Much of the outboard gear is driven by antique vintage tubes and heavy duty transformers to enhance your recording tonalities.  Some of our vintage pieces are so rare you will hardly find hits on the web (Flickinger tube compressors, Levy’s Program EQs, EMI Presence eqs, Songbird Tri Stereo Chorus and Songbird Cyclosonics Panner).  Also, the Studio is Mogami wired with the shortest possible signal path to maintain sonic quality. 

Our one of a kind equipment list is complimented by the 3200 sq ft facility which is divided into 4 rooms with 6 distinct areas. 

1. The Control Room above is 30x20 sq ft.  It is very spacious and is a wonderful tracking room as well.  Towards the rear of the control room is a nice large sofa which is very inviting and roomy enough for the entire band or friends. 
2. The Main Room Tracking Room is 40x30 sq ft.  It's large enough for the band/project to track all at once and accomplish minimal bleed.  This room maintains a large natural reverb which adds life to any recording. 
3. Two Iso Booths are visually connected to the Controll Room and Main Room and are also wired into the patch bay.
